Perez-Acosta, Ribeiro Earn SWAC Weekly awards

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Alabama A&M University women's soccer Senior Jasmine Perez-Acosta and Liliana Ribeiro were named the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Co-Offensive Player of the Week and Goalkeeper of the Week, respectively, the office announced on Tuesday. Perez-Acosta was the lone scorer in the 2-1 victory over Alabama State on Friday night. She is the first Bulldogs to receive offensive recognition this season and leads the team in shots (on goal) with 45 (30). She also leads the team in goals, recording six this season.
