Wrestling Defeated by Army in Throwdown on the Yorktown

CHARLESTON, S.C. - On the deck of the USS Yorktown on Friday night, the Gardner-Webb University wrestling was defeated by West Point in a 35-6 final score. In the 141 pound weight class, graduate Todd Carter continued a strong start to his 2024 season. Following up from his ranked with over Purdue last weekend, Carter scored a 4-2 win against Army by decision. With the result, Carter moves to 2-0 as an individual this season.
