Troup Volleyball: Lady Tigers fall to Harmony in Area round

TYLER – Troup’s post season run ended Thursday evening when the Lady Tigers lost to a 32-win Harmony squad, 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-9) in a Class 3A, Division II, Region II Area match. The contest took place at the Tyler High Gymnasium. Harmony moves on to battle Paradise in the regional quarterfinal round early next week. The Lady Tigers were representing District 16-3A as its runner-up, while Harmony was the District 13-2A champion. Lady Tiger seniors scheduled to graduate in the spring included: Emory Cover, Violet Eason, Georgia Ray and Payton Wells.
