Wartburg holds off Macalester for season opening win
ST. PAUL—The Wartburg men’s basketball team opened the season with a 69-67 win over Macalester Saturday afternoon. The Scots attempted two three-pointers in the last nine seconds of the game but missed both to give the win to the Knights. First half Wartburg opened the game on an 8-6 run over the first four minutes.
