Kats add guard on National Signing Day

HUNTSVILLE — Sam Houston head coach Ravon Justice has strengthened the team's backcourt with the addition of a standout guard from Dallas, Texas. Kaylie Carr has signed to play for the Bearkats in the 2025-26 season. The 5-10 guard played for Legion Prep Academy, where she earned TCAL State Champion honors and was named to the TCAL All-Academic and All-State teams. Carr averaged 6.7 points per game during her junior season and showcased her skills on the Adidas-sponsored Lady Jets Elite during her travel season before her senior year.
