Devin Brown transferring: 5 possible landing spots
COLUMBUS, Ohio (BVM) — Since joining Ohio State as the No. 5 quarterback in 247 Sports’ 2022 recruiting class, Devin Brown has spent three seasons as a Buckeyes backup, starting just one abbreviated game.
He’d competed for the starting position before both of the last two campaigns but was passed up by Kyle McCord and Will Howard, the latter having transferred in before this year.
Having announced on Dec. 8 his intent to enter the transfer portal following Ohio State’s playoff run, Brown decided not to risk holding a clipboard for another go-round. Freshman Julian Sayin, a five-star who the Buckeyes imported from Alabama, is Ohio State’s favorite for the signal-caller job in 2025.
Here are some schools to watch in Brown’s recruitment.
