Garrett Crochet trade ‘getting closer’: 5 landing spots
CHICAGO (BVM) – Garrett Crochet is one of the hottest names on the MLB trade market this offseason. With winter meetings underway, MLB insider Jon Morosi recently reported that a Crochet deal is “getting closer.”
Crochet is rumored to have several interested suitors following a terrific 2024 campaign where he had a 3.58 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 209 strikeouts, the seventh-most in the big leagues. The 6-foot-6 lefthander’s breakout campaign led to his first All-Star appearance and 2024 AL Comeback Player of the Year honors.
Following a historically bad season for the Chicago White Sox, the club is expected to load up on prospects with a full-blown rebuild underway. Crochet should net a solid return with the upside he possesses. Here are five landing spots for Crochet if he is dealt.
