Patrick Payton transferring: 5 possible landing spots for DE
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (BVM) — Florida State’s football season was a trainwreck. As the Seminoles try to steady themselves next season, edge rusher Patrick Payton won’t be around.
Payton entered the transfer portal Wednesday, a season removed from his All-ACC showing as a sophomore. Florida State is reorganizing its defense to a 3-3-5 scheme after a 2-10 season, which Payton might not have fit in with.
