Pirates wrestling wins district meet
Park Center wrestling notched a big chapter in program history Jan. 10, winning the District 279 Meet, hosted by Maple Grove. The district meet is an annual event that pits Park Center against Osseo and Maple Grove. The Pirates had often been placed as the third member of that list, with the trophy attached to the meet even titled as an Osseo/Maple Grove cup. The tides have turned, however, and this year the trophy was named the “Crimson/Pirates Cup” in anticipation of a Park Center program that has improved in strides in recent years.
