Men’s Hoops Shoots Past Dominican
The Benedictine University men’s basketball team shot 52.5 percent from the field and recorded a 94-81 win at Dominican to cap a stretch of three consecutive road games which saw the team finish 2-1. Benedictine trailed only briefly at 3-2 before ripping off seven straight to move ahead by six. The team opened a double digit edge at 18-8 when Patrick Mayfield completed a three-point play just over five minutes into the contest. Benedictine held a 49-35 advantage at halftime.
