Obermueller Named Perfect Game Preseason B1G Pitcher of the Year

Baseball January 16, 2025 IOWA CITY, Iowa – University of Iowa junior starting pitcher Cade Obermueller was named the preseason Big Ten Pitcher of the Year by Perfect Game, it was announced Thursday. The left-handed pitcher was also named to the preseason All-Big Ten team. This is the third straight year that Iowa has had the Perfect Game Preseason Pitcher of the Year (Brody Brecht in 2024 and Ty Langenberg in 2023).
