Taylor Hall unsure on future: 5 possible landing spots
CHICAGO (BVM) – Taylor Hall was traded to the Chicago Blackhawks before the 2023-24 season, but his tenure with the historic franchise has not gone to plan. The former Hart Trophy winner suffered a severe knee injury in his 11th game last season, ending his campaign.
The 33-year-old has not played at a star level in 2024-25 with 22 points in 43 games, and it appears he could be heading elsewhere.
“I came into this year wanting to continue being a Blackhawk for years to come,” Hall said in a media session Wednesday. “I don’t know if that’s going to be the case anymore, but I’ll leave that door open, for sure and understand it’s a business and that the team’s going to do what’s best for them. We’ll see what happens.”
Hall has not had the most productive season, but he is a versatile and experienced player. The five-time All-Star is also in the final year of a four-year, $24-million contract.
He should have a decent market considering those factors. These are the teams that could make a push to land Hall.
