Myles Garrett requests trade: 5 possible landing spots
CLEVELAND (BVM) – Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett is a Hall of Fame-caliber edge rusher, but he has not been able to experience much postseason football. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft has only played in three playoff games in eight seasons.
Cleveland’s 3-14 record this past season was enough for Garrett to decide something has to change. Garrett requested a trade Monday, potentially setting up a monumental transaction.

The 29-year-old is a four-time first-team All-Pro and was named Defensive Player of the Year in 2023. Garrett has two years remaining on his contract ($19.7 million in 2025 and $20.3 million in 2026) and would cost a sizable trade package.
Browns general manager Andrew Berry has insisted he will not trade one of the league’s biggest defensive stars, but this is a situation worth monitoring.
These teams could be the most likely to swoop in if Berry changes his tune.
