Germaine Pratt requests trade: 5 landing spots for Bengals LB
CINCINNATI (BVM) – Germaine Pratt has requested a trade from the Cincinnati Bengals following six seasons with the organization. A team that acquires Pratt via a trade will pay him $5.6 million in non-guaranteed money in 2025 before he potentially becomes an unrestricted free agent in 2026.

Pratt, a former All-ACC standout at NC State, was drafted by the Bengals in 2019 and has emerged as one of the team’s top leaders, becoming a defensive captain in 2024. Pratt had the best year of his career statistically this past season, ranking 10th in the NFL with 143 total tackles. He also forced two fumbles, recovered two fumbles and made two interceptions as one of just three players in the league with over 140 tackles and six turnover plays, joining Zaire Franklin and Zach Baun.
Still a young player with valuable experience, Pratt should generate interest on the trade market should the Bengals choose to honor his request. Here are five teams that could deal for Pratt.
