Women’s Tennis takes down Wooster & Indiana Southeast to round out Hilton Head action

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – The Coe College women’s tennis team wrapped up action in Hilton Head Island yesterday, claiming a pair of wins over The College at Wooster and Indiana University Southeastern while dropping a match to DI opponent College of Charleston. The Kohawks opened with an impressive win over Wooster in the early contest, knocking off the Fighting Scots 5-2. A doubles forfeit gave Wooster a 1-0 lead but Maddie Schultz, Alli Hagness, Maria Bello Escobar, Jaden Fuqua and Giana Akins responded in singles with wins in all five matches.
