Eddie Lampkin transferring: 5 landing spots for 6-foot-11 big man
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (BVM) – Eddie Lampkin has entered the transfer portal after one season at Syracuse. This marks the third consecutive year that Lampkin has been in the portal as he seeks a sixth season of college eligibility.
Lampkin, a three-star recruit in the Class of 2020, began his collegiate career at TCU. The 6-foot-11, 265-pound center played a key role as a starter on back-to-back NCAA Tournament teams during his second and third seasons in Fort Worth.
Lampkin made it back to the Big Dance with Colorado in 2024 and transferred to Syracuse last offseason. The big man put up career-best numbers during an All-ACC honorable mention season with the Orange, averaging 11.5 points, 9.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists while shooting 59.6% from the field.
