Flyers’ Rasmus Ristolainen out six months after surgery

The Philadelphia Flyers may be without a blue liner to start next season. Defenceman Rasmus Ristolainen underwent arm surgery and is expected to be out for six months, the team announced on Thursday. The March 26 procedure was intended to repair a right triceps tendon rupture. The team had said he was week-to-week with an upper-body injury earlier in the month.
