Wildcats walk off Rams for South Seven victory

MARION — Aidan Pickles played the hero for Marion Thursday night when he laced a single into center field to score Callahan Roper and give the Wildcats a 3-2 win over Mt. Vernon in 10 innings. Marion’s walkoff overshadowed dominant pitching performances by both the Wildcats and Rams starters and relievers.
