Women’s tennis finishes off regular season with victory over Randolph

DANVILLE, Va. – Averett University women’s tennis carried on into the postseason on a high note, besting Randolph College 6-1 on its Senior Day Saturday morning. Averett (14-4, 9-1 ODAC) took the bottom two doubles matches with ease, only losing a combined two games to clinch the first point for the Cougars. From there, the all-reliable singles lineup cruised. Despite a loss at No. 1 singles, Averett got great performances from numbers four, five, and six.
