Cowgirls Fall in Regular Season Finale

ABILENE, Texas – Hardin-Simmons’ Cowgirl softball team fell 6-1 and 5-3 in the final day of the regular season playing No. 1 East Texas Baptist in American Southwest Conference play on Saturday at Ellis Field. The Tigers scored four runs in the first inning of game one that made the difference in the 6-1 win over HSU. Hannah Aaron had the loss and Kelly Shackelford threw six innings in relief for the Cowgirls. Emily Jacobs had the lone Cowgirl RBI in the first inning.
