WALNUT COVE — Michael Frye went 3-for-3 with five RBIs as North Stokes dominated East Wilkes 14-0 in convincing fashion during the Northwest 1A Conference Tournament Championship game on May 1. The Vikings (20-7) wasted no time establishing control, scoring three runs in the first inning highlighted by Ryan Smith's two-run double. North Stokes added four more runs in the second and exploded for five runs on six hits in the third to put the game out of reach.
