Six Cowboys Honored By ASC

IRVING, Texas – Hardin-Simmons’ baseball team had six players honored by the American Southwest Conference coaches in the yearly awards. First baseman Brock Calvillo , second baseman Quincy McGraw , outfielder Baylan Vaughan and utility player Jake Trapani were all named to the first team. Calvillo, a senior from Bakersfield, Calif., finished the season with a .430 batting average and had a hit in 37 of the 38 games and finished the year on a 20-game hitting streak.
