Wildcats wins Mid-State 2A Title behind Hall

WALKERTOWN — West Stokes captured its’ third consecutive Mid-State 2A Conference Tournament Championship Thursday, riding tournament Most Outstanding Player Andru Hall's homerun to a convincing 13-0 victory over Morehead. The Wildcats (22-2) dominated from the first inning, when Eli Edwards singled home the game's opening run. Hall, who finished with two hits and three RBIs, extended the lead in the second inning with an RBI single down the left field line.
