Providence Knocks Butler Softball Out of BIG EAST Tournament

VILLANOVA, Pa. – After a dramatic win the previous evening, the Butler softball team was unable to generate significant offense and was eliminated from the BIG EAST Tournament by a 7-0 loss to Providence. The No. 6 seed Friars led from the first inning forward, and their defense prevented the No. 5 seed Bulldogs from crossing the plate.
