Softball Falls in ASC Championship to No. 1 ETBU

MARSHALL, Texas — In its first-ever ASC Tournament championship game, the No. 4 seeded LeTourneau softball team battled top-ranked, and host, East Texas Baptist before falling 2-0 on Saturday afternoon in Marshall. LeTourneau ends the year 18-27 overall. The YellowJackets were making the program’s first appearance in the championship round of the ASC Tournament in LeTourneau’s final year as a member of the conference. East Texas Baptist (40-3), ranked No. 1 nationally throughout the season, advances to the NCAA Tournament.
