West Stokes falls short against Trinity

KING — In an emotional end to their 2025 campaign, the West Stokes baseball team dropped a narrow 3-2 decision to the visiting Trinity Bulldogs on May 9 in the second round of the NCHSAA 2A State Playoffs, closing the chapter on a memorable season. The loss marked the final high school game for nine Wildcats seniors who have been the backbone of a program that Coach Tanner Lomax describes as "special."
