Fuseini, Ghana, qualify for World Athletics Championships
GUANGZHOU, China – East Texas A&M University track and field sprinter Ibrahim Fuseini ran a blazing anchor leg to help his home country of Ghana qualify for the 4x100 meter relay at the World Athletics Championships later this year. Fuseini (Accra, Ghana) raced for Team Ghana at the World Athletics Relay Championships over the weekend in Guangzhou. After missing out on advancement to the finals and qualifying for the World Championships on Saturday by just 0.06 seconds, Ghana ran a time of 38.32 seconds on Sunday in the second round of qualifying.
