Krishnappa and Oehlschlaeger Named Liberty League Baseball Co-Player and Rookie of the Year,

TROY, NY – Ayush Krishnappa and Ian Oehlschlaeger of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) baseball team were named the respective Liberty League Baseball Co-Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year for the 2025 season. Krishnappa’s Co-Player of the Year nod is the first time since 2009 a player from RPI garnered the accolade. Krishnappa posted a .422 batting average with 57 hits in 135 at-bats.
