Banana Slugs Show Well at APU Franson Last Chance

AZUSA, Ca. – The UC Santa Cruz men’s and women’s track and field teams delivered a series of strong performances at the Azusa Pacific Franson Last Chance Meet, as athletes took one final opportunity to improve marks and rewrite the record books. Men’s Results 100m: James Contini clocked 10.81 seconds (26th place) in a heavily wind-aided heat, while Tyler Vo crossed the line in 11.34 seconds (46th place). 400m: Shiven Karnik led the Slugs in the quarter-mile with a time of 49.94 seconds (23rd place), followed closely by Nathan Bruhn at 50.17 seconds (25th) and Shiv Mohan at 50.28 seconds…
