Edmonds, McPherson selected to participate in MSP HBCU All-Star Game

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Norfolk State softball players Queen Edmonds and Amaya McPherson have been selected to participate in the Minority Softball Prospects (MSP) HBCU All-Star Game on May 30 in Charlotte, N.C. A sophomore transfer from Radford, Edmonds led the team in batting average (.336), at-bats (146), hits (49), and total bases (71). She totaled 15 multi-hits and three multi-RBIs games to earn All-MEAC honors. A freshman pitcher from Woodbridge, Va., McPherson made 16 starts in 26 appearances, recording a 2.96 ERA.
