Ella Johel Earns NFCA All-Region Honors

Canisius outfielder Ella Johel was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Northeast Region Second Team, the organization announced Thursday. Johel is the eighth different Canisius player to be named to an NFCA All-Region team in the last decade, and her inclusion on this year’s list gives Canisius a representative on the all-region squad for the fifth consecutive year. Of the 35 players named to the NFCA All-Northeast Region First, Second and Third Teams in 2025, she is one of six players from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) to be recognized.
