Weather Suspends Baseball’s Opener vs. Fairfield at 1–1; Delays Finish to Saturday as Series Shortens

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – For the second consecutive day, Rider Baseball’s opener against Fairfield was suspended due to weather and field conditions after Fairfield tied the game at the top of the sixth. The game will resume tomorrow, May 17, at 11 a.m. in the bottom of the ninth with two outs, a runner on base, and Peter Crespo at the plate.
