Softball Season Comes To an End Versus Cortland

GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) softball team was eliminated from the NCAA Division III Championship with a 10-5 result against Cortland this afternoon. Sydney Speanburg reached base a team-high three times for the Engineers, as the outfielder had one hit and drew two walks. Addison Shaffer and Lauren Cosselman tallied a hit apiece, with Shaffer logging a team-high three RBI. Speanburg also drove in a run, as did Callista Adorno .
