Rowing Places Sixth at MAAC Championship

FINAL RESULTS The Canisius rowing team closed out the 2024-25 season on Sunday afternoon, as the Golden Griffins took part in the 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Rowing Championships at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken Township, N.J. Canisius earned 25 points and placed sixth out of nine teams. Fairfield captured the 2025 MAAC Rowing Championship in dramatic fashion after the Stags complied 47 points and won the varsity 8 grand final, which broke a tie with three-time defending league champion Jacksonville.
