Aylene Lucero Earns All-American Honors From D2CCA
ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – Aylene Lucero has been recognized by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) as a Third Team All-American, announced by organization Thursday. Lucero becomes the first Greyhound to earn All-American honors from the D2CCA, and just the fourth Greyhound in program history to be named an All-American. Earning all-region honors from the D2CCA and NFCA (National Fastpitch Coaches Association), Lucero led the Greyhounds from the lead-off spot, playing all 55 games and batting a team best .414 batting average, leading the team with 75 hits, 61 runs, and a .516 on-base percentage.
