BOCA RATON, Fla. – A slow start ultimately led to the UAB football team falling 53-33 to Florida Atlantic on Saturday night at Flagler Credit Union Stadium. The Owls (3-3, 2-1 American) raced out to a 28-0 lead early in the second quarter and never looked back. FAU outgained UAB 492-329, and a season-high 14 penalties put the Blazers (2-4, 0-3 American) behind the sticks all night long.
