Women Win Second Team Title; Fall Rodeo Schedule Closes at Northwestern

ALVA, Okla. – SWOSU closed the fall season strong at the Northwestern Oklahoma State Rodeo, where the women’s team captured its second team championship of the fall and the men’s team placed sixth for a fourth consecutive event. The Lady Bulldogs scored 490 points to win the women’s title. Cheyenne VandeStouwe , the Central Plains Region leader in both the women’s all-around and breakaway roping, and second in goat tying, won the breakaway roping average and short round — her first event title in breakaway this fall after two earlier wins in goat tying.
