Reeves, Simpson Rack Up MEAC Weekly Awards

NORFOLK, Va. (November 10, 2025) – The Mid-Eastern Atlantic Conference (MEAC) unveiled its women's volleyball weekly awards where Howard University saw two Bison recognized for their efforts versus North Carolina Central (NCCU) and South Carolina State (SCSU). The announcement came Monday afternoon. Seniors Leah Reeves (Allen, Texas) and Claire Simpson (Plainfield, Ill.) won MEAC Setter of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively. Reeves guided Howard to a perfect 2–0 week, totaling 89 assists (12.7 per set), 17 digs and four aces.
