Puck Winter Ties Big Ten Record for Defensive Saves
PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers field hockey back Puck Winter finished her Scarlet Knights career with 31 defensive saves. That total tied her for the BIg Ten record in the stat, matching Beth Senic, who did so from 1985-1988 for Ohio State. Winter, who last season became RU's all-time leader in defensive saves, matched the record in dramatic fashion, doing so in overtime against Michigan in the Big Ten Tournament to keep the team's season alive.
