Loyola Chicago Women’s Basketball Signs Cleveland Native Gemma Wichmann
CHICAGO - Loyola University Chicago head women's basketball head coach Allison Guth announced the signing of Gemma Wichmann, a 6-foot power/point forward from Magnificat High School in Cleveland, Ohio. "Gemma is an extremely exciting addition to our program," said Guth. "She has had both an impressive high school and travel ball career thus far and will immediately impact us with her motor and physicality," Wichmann, a multi-sport athlete and two-time Northeast Lakes All-District honoree, helped guide Magnificat to back-to-back Division I Final Four appearances in 2024 and 2025.
