Report: Knicks’ Brunson has ankle sprain, out Friday vs. Heat
New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson will miss Friday’s game against the Miami Heat because of a Grade 1 right ankle sprain, Shams Charania reported on Thursday. Brunson sustained the injury in the final minutes of Wednesday’s loss against the Orlando Magic. He was seen leaving the arena on crutches and a walking boot. With the All-Star point guard sidelined, Miles McBride, Jordan Clarkson and Tyler Kolek are expected to take on bigger roles during his absence.
