Lions Cannot Get Out of Early Deficit
SPOKANE, Wash. – LMU men's soccer's season came to a difficult close Saturday night as the Lions fell 5-1 to Gonzaga at Luger Field in the final match of the 2025 campaign. The Lions (5-6-7, 1-3-5 WCC) found themselves in an early hole as the Bulldogs struck twice in quick succession during the first half. Michael Luande opened the scoring in the 14th minute before Robbie Mora converted a penalty kick just 30 seconds later to give Gonzaga a commanding 2-0 advantage.
