Heitmann and Lane Collect Wolves of the Week

DANBURY, Conn. — Each week, WestConn Athletics selects one female and one male student-athlete as the Wolves of the Week, recognizing their outstanding performances in their respective sports from the previous week. The honorees are announced every Wednesday. The 13th Wolves of the Week in the 2025-26 year have been selected for their stellar performances on the court and the ice. Senior forward Leana Heitmann (East Syracuse, N.Y.) and first-year goaltender Liam Lane (Castle Rock, Colo.) were named Wolves of the Week.
