Louisville Named USBWA National Team of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The No. 8/7 Louisville Cardinals were named the U.S. Basketball Writers Association National Team of the Week, the organization announced Wednesday afternoon. Louisville picked up two impressive road wins this past week against No. 23/22 Notre Dame and NC State to continue its perfect start to ACC play. Louisville becomes the first team in ACC history to win at Notre Dame and at NC State in the same week since the Irish joined the conference in the 2013-14 season.
