Houston Announces Leadership Change in Baseball
HOUSTON – University of Houston Vice President for Athletics Eddie Nuñez announced Todd Whitting will not be offered a new contract. A national search for the next leader of Houston Baseball will begin immediately. In his 16 seasons at the helm of the Cougars, Whitting compiled 498 wins, the second-most in program history, and a .558 winning percentage. The 1995 Houston graduate guided the Cougars to five conference championships, four NCAA Tournament appearances and a berth in the 2014 NCAA Super Regional.
