Double receives all-region applause in the javelin

NEW ORLEANS, La. (May 22) – Junior track and field standout Natalie Double (Portersville, Pa. / Slippery Rock) was honored as a United States Track & Field and Cross Country Association all-region honoree in the javelin. Double earned the honor after finishing third in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Double set the third-place mark of 41.07 meters at Slippery Rock’s Dave Labor Invitational on April 3. This award was just the latest in a highly successful outdoor season for Double, who won multiple individual titles, including her first Presidents’ Athletic Conference crown.
