Former Toronto FC president Bill Manning named CEO of Saudi Pro League side Diriyah Club
Bill Manning is back working in soccer, two years after leaving Toronto FC and the CFL’s Toronto Argonauts. Manning, who was the Toronto FC president from 2015 to 2024 — overseeing the club’s spectacular rise and subsequent fall — has been named CEO of the Saudi Pro League’s Diriyah Club. Manning left both of his jobs with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment in July 2024, departing by mutual consent a few months after MLSE hired Keith Pelley as president and CEO.
