#ProPios Update: Stathakis Shines in Season Debut

DENVER – The University of Denver men’s lacrosse program’s #ProPios returned to action last weekend, coming off the all-star break with week eight play in Chicago. Alec Stathakis made his PLL season debut last weekend in Chicago, winning a battle with fellow former Pio TD Ierlan . Stathakis finished 18-of-31 with seven ground balls in Philadelphia’s 15-13 win. Jimmy Freehill had three grounders and a CT in the Waterdogs win. Richie Connell had a pair of goals for Maryland in a 17-10 win over Carolina to wrap-up the weekend.
