When an injury cost him the lower part of his right leg, former Georgetown College football player Kody Kasey was facing a difficult battle. However, through perseverance and toughness Kasey not only returned to the field, but used his story to inspire others.
The NAIA officially postponed fall sports championships to the spring season this week over concerns playing due to COVID-19. Although conferences will still be allowed to participate in fall sports if they so choose, over 50 schools had already ruled out playing prior to the announcement.
Following the best season in program history that included a trip to the NAIA FCS semifinals, Lindsey Wilson expects big things in its follow up season this year. With plenty of returning talent and a large class of new recruits, things are looking up for the Blue Raiders.
