After a turbulent season, Emily Woods led the Canton High School girls soccer team to a district championship win.
The members of the 2020/21 Waunakee boys soccer team were not even a gleam in the eyes of their parents the last time the school made an appearance in the state tournament. Led by coach Dave Kettner, the team made it to the state’s biggest high school stage for the first time since 1999.
The Schoolcraft girls soccer program continues to get better and better in its young existence, and it is thanks in large part to standout Hannah Thompson, who set an MHSAA record on both the boys and girls sides with 87 goals scored this season.
